Shooting Preserve

Juniata River Game Farm offers a 400-acre Shooting Preserve, divided into 4 remote hunting areas, in operation from September through March, excluding Sundays. Each of the farms used for hunts combines a variety of cover: farm crops, brier thickets, saplings, traditional fence rows, and open-woods hunting for the hunting enthusiast.

All hunts are 4 hours, either mornings from 8:00am to 12:00pm, or afternoon from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Continental hunts are the exception; your hunting party will have the farm for the entire day.

All hunters must wear blaze orange vests and hats and abide by PA state game laws, although no state license is required. A guide and dog can be provided, but hunters also have the option of using their own dog.

Juniata River Game Farm reserves the right to refuse hunting to any person who fails to exhibit proper safety procedures.
